Exhibition "Faces of Mercy" in Javier (Navarra)

Mercy has been the protagonist of the Novena of Grace held from 4 to 12 March at the Shrine of Javier, under the motto "Pilgrims of Mercy". The ninth and traditional Javieradas, thus joined the Jubilee Year of Mercy summoned by the pope Francisco, which gives us the opportunity to discover the Father God as the Father of mercy. In the words of Francisco Javier Cortabarria SJ, rector of the sanctuary, in this Novena of Grace and the Javieradas we were invited to experience not remain in mere physical exercise with a backpack, but "we come back with our backpacks filled the mercy of God the Father good and our grateful hearts. "
 
Moreover, with the same objective, the sanctuary of Javier installed on the covered porch downtown Spirituality an exhibition entitled "Faces of mercy" illustrated with images of mosaics Jesuit Father Marko Ivan Rupnik SJ and texts priest Pablo Cervera. The exhibition, which will run until November 20, will help visitors and pilgrims to understand the meaning of the Year of Mercy through the corporal and spiritual works.
 
Archbishop Francisco Pérez González visited the show the past 10 days, coinciding with the Javierada Priestly, and gave his blessing thus leaving the exhibition opened.
